Maybe it is obvious, but I don't want want to lose any of my wife's data and I would much prefer to have the reinstall not touch the data, so that I do not have to back-it-up and then re-install the data. I have a 3-year old, slower desktop, that I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 - and I can reboot in far less than a minute whereas my wife's laptop takes minutes to reboot - and My wife's Windows 10 Dell laptop just keeps getting slower and slower.
My question is about re-installing Windows 10 on a one-year old laptop that was purchased with Windows 10 pre-installed. Hi- Pretty much the same question as I have found in this Community, but most of the others are regarding reinstall after an upgrade.
